Grief Ritual

The grief ritual is a space set aside to metabolize our grief individually and collectively in a healthy way. Writings are read aloud and witnessed by others. The ritual includes collective movement and music. Embodied grief is welcome. We believe that the exercises themselves will help to digest grief.

Space will be prepared for a full day to embody and process whatever grief emerged. The first half of the day will be an extensive writing exercise with titrated small group sharing. After a brief lunch break, the formal ritual will begin. This is a movement-based collective experience.
